On this page, we want to give to you a basic layout of the gear, and stage set-up for a concert/service with Terry Fancher.
GEAR USED

Depending on the layout of service, gear may be adjusted to what is used.  If the service requires that ZMI sends full system.  The PA used is adjustable to compliment groups of various sizes.  Using Yamaha and Soundbridge PA speakers, with 6 cabinets per side, Yamaha S215 (2) per side and Yamaha Subs (1) per side.  (2) Yamaha floor monitors, plus (2) extra if needed for side fill.
The amp racks consist of (3) QSC amps, for house needs, (1) Sonetic amp, for monitor needs, and (1) Peavy Monitor amp.  The PA system as mentioned is adjustable according to size of venue. Full system can care for up to 3500 people.

The mix rack, contains a Mackie mixer, with Sabine tuner,  DOD effects and a Sony JE-500 minidisk player for tracks.  Using for mics:  AKG, Shure line and wireless. and Samson..  The guitars are ran through two Fender amps.  Effects pedals used, depending on service. The effects from the guitar amps many times are used as well.  If service calls for extra, a house mixer is placed for house needs, which consist of basic Yamaha mixer, Digitech studio effects, Tascam CD player, minidisk, and house EQ. This would need to be within 125 feet of platform, audio snake is 150 ft.

When services call for a smaller set-up. Terry will use the guitar amps, and his mix rack. running through house system either in mono ot stereo, depending on house set-up.  In this set-up: stage needs are a basic monitor  for fold back needs.  Terry mixes voice, guitars, and tracks from stage, house sound only needs to provide house level, and monitor level. Lighting is also available in use for service/concert, consisting of (2) trees, one per side, with (4) par 56 light cans and color jells.  Usual set-up is if possible 2 to 1 1/2 hours before service... If ZMI provides PA system, (2) volunteers and time of (2) hours before service is needed.
For product, a 6 or 8 foot table can be used for placement of CD's and ministry materials such as Prison Outreach material, Newsletter sign up and Compassion International.  On occasions Compassion International will send a volunteer to help maintain a display of materials and child packs. In this case, an extra 6 foot table would be needed..

On occasion, a volunteer would be needed to help watch over the product table..
Overall concerns of service...........
Terry desires that each service be totally directed by the Holy Spirit, and the best way of accomplishing this is MUCH prayer.. Prayer over upcoming service as well as prayer before and during service..  Volunteer prayer partners are a good step of faith in this part of the service..  If any questions have need of answer, please contact our office at 903-839-5438, or email us at zoemin@tcainternet.com ..
An extra note to the Pastor:  When a service is booked at your church facility, a confirmation letter will be mailed for your filing and ZMI filing.  Thank You and God Bless You greatly......
NOTES FOR A "GUITAR SEMINAR/WORKSHOP"
A guitar workshop/seminar is a more intimate setting.  Even though labeled as a "guitar" workshop, it includes all instruments, as well as Praise and Worship of the Church.  The main focus being the encouragement and challenge of stretching the capabilities of the musician...  Based on Psalm 144:1 "He rains my hands for war, my fingers for battle." The workshop is mostly scheduled on a Saturday.  (2) sessions, usually 10 a.m. until 12 noon, a lunch break and then the second session from 1:30pm until 3:30pm.  The stage layout is Terry's rack, with  usually 4 guitars.. This may also vary depending on the sessions..  Players are encouraged to bring their guitars, preferrably acoustic, in order to "tryout" ideas that are shared..  Questions and answers are a part of both sessions.  Basic playing to "Freehand" are shared, stretching to ab-lib playing, Bible background, basic music ministry "musts" are shared as in, Why Integrity, as well as accountability are vital to ministry.  Why "unity" is a must in playing as well as worshipping with others.  Why Bible study is a must.. To ways to write songs, and why prayer is the backbone to all Music Ministry.

A reigistration fee is usually set for the workshop, the turn out for the workshop usually varies anywhere between 15-40, which is good in order to keep it within a more intimate setting..  More information can be shared and given by contacting our office either by email or 903-839-5438..
